Our bakery is an established business and has been for over 10 years. In July 2012, the Cohens took over the bakery with a vision to provide the best quality Artisan bread and service that is both Kosher supervised and widely available to the public, whilst still maintaining a freshly, home baked feel.
All our baking is certified as being strictly kosher by the London Beth Din, the major kosher certification agency in the UK with the most stringent standards.
Our baking is also free from any animal fats making it both halal compliant and suitable for vegetarians.
We bake a large selection of traditional and speciality bread which is all handmade to original family recipes around the clock to produce freshly baked produce on a daily basis. We use only the finest high quality ingredients in all of our products which are also free from preservatives and artificial colouring.
Cohens Bakery is proud to supply large retail shops such as Morrisons and Ocado, Jewish care homes as well as Jewish schools in the UK. We also supply independent retailers with branches throughout the UK. Cohens Bakery (Buckingham Boulangerie) is pleased to have supplied Waitrose with freshly baked bread products for almost fifteen years.
Our range includes not just the staples of egg enriched challah bread and traditional rye bread but also mini challah rolls, tear and share challah (in a variety of fantastic flavours including olive and sun-dried tomato), bread rolls, onion topped platzels, bagels in a variety of flavours (which require them to be boiled before baking which gives our bagels that delicious chewy texture not currently found in any major UK supermarket), amazingly soft luxury pitta bread (available in both plain and wholemeal varieties and also not currently found in any major UK supermarket), cakes, biscuits and mini danish pastries.
